College Place Will Join with Other United Methodist Churches in Supplying a Greensboro District Christmas Store |
College Place has committed to provide 100 sweatshirts for a new cooperative mission of the Methodist churches in Greensboro. On the morning of December 15, a "store" will be set up at West Market Street UMC where needy parents will pay a token amount to shop for items that their children need for Christmas. As the parents shop, their children will have an opportunity to experience the Christmas Story in some fresh and exciting ways.
College Place will purchase the sweatshirts so that they will be of similar quality, though in different sizes and colors. Contributions may be sent to College Place UMC, 509 Tate Street, Greensboro, NC 27403. Checks should be made to CPUMC and marked for "Christmas Store." |
